09-29-2009 Sunny's Meals

Breakfast: 2 Scrambled eggs and a coffee with splenda and half and half
Lunch: An Atkins low carb shake
Dinner: 1 boneless breast of chicken cooked in Italian dressing and added to a delicious salad with some tomato slices and olives and pepper jack cheese.

After dinner coffee and some water....I feel good!

Breakfast: Just coffee with the usual, splenda and half anf half
Lunch: 2 egg cheese omelet
Snack: An Atkins shake
Dinner: a salad with grape tomatoes (just a few) and a few black olives

09-28-2009 Don's Meals and Exercise

Meals during the week were on plan.. Salads for lunch/dinner and an atkins shake for breakfast each day. I'll begin to post daily again once I am off these long shifts.

Saturday Meals:

Breakfast: Coffee and Half/Half
Lunch: Salad with cheese and some pork loin
Dinner: BBQ at friends. Chicken, a Hamburger and some grilled vegetables. Green salad

Sunday Meals:
Breakfast Atkins Shake
Lunch: Missed, was at the gym
Dinner: Left-over grilled chicken and vegetables from the BBQ

Exercise Sunday: 3 hours at the gym, swimming, walking around the track and steamroom

Lunch at a baby shower: Simple salad, sausage, broccoli raab, one chicken thigh and cauliflour and a cup of coffee and some water.

Dinner: Boneless brst of chicken with frozen veggies, some not allowed, but ate them anyway.

Don's Meals week of Sept through 10th

I have been doing the usual... Atkins shakes and coffee in the morning, a salad with some type of protein (usually chicken chunks or turkey or tuna), and then another salad for dinner with meat. This week I had roasted chicken legs and left-over pork ribs from the BBQ last weekend.

I'm leaving on vacation and will be on cruise ship around all types of FOOOODDDD, but, I will stay focused and enjoy the cruise, not gorging on the food.

More next weekend.

09-01 through 09-06 2009 Don's Meals

It's been a busy week. Highlights of my plan this week.

I had at least 2 salads each day, with various proteins (about 6 oz). Chicken, turkey or roasted pork. Breakfasts were always Atkins shakes, they are so easy in the morning (4:00am uggg).

Dinners which were not salad were eggs with bacon one night, hamburgers on the grill with mozzarella on romaine with slice of tomato. Dinner last night (Saturday) was salad bar and a wonderful prime rib end cut.

As you can see, my meals during the week are pretty set, shakes, salads with protein.

Snacks during this week were pork rinds with cream cheese, walnuts, pecan halves. I came up with a great new desert... Shaved ice (like in a snow cone) with sprinkled crystal light (my favorite fruit punch or their mandarine orange). I was in heaven.. it was really like a desert.
